Watch up BET because Master P has something better to offer TV watchers. Better Black Television will launch in 2009 and will have different lifestyle programs such as cooking, fashion, children’s show and music.
The advisory board for Black Better Television includes Oscar winner Denzel Washington, NAACP executive director Vicangelo Bullock, NBA player Derek Anderson and cable industry veteran Sal Martino. Master P will the chairman and CEO.
The goal of the network is to "positive content for a black and brown culture".
Will Hip Hop Support Hurt Obama?The hip hop community is in full support of Obama. He is name dropped in songs, rappers are wearing Obama T-shirts, but some political analysts think that this support will alienate other Democrats. The feeling is that Democrats who do not like hip hop or support the lifestyle that rappers portray think Obama might. Even though this thinking is not rational, politics has always been strange. The analysts are saying that people are more turned off when celebrities talk about politics because they think celebrities are only interested in trends and are not knowledgeable about world events.
